Algae - Champions of the blue bioeconomy

The diversity of micro- and macroalgae holds a hitherto hardly tapped potential for use by humans. Algae thus represent one of the most important feedstocks for the blue bioeconomy. In this event, we will provide an overview of the latest findings in basic research, allow German companies that are already successfully using algae to have their say, and venture an outlook into the potential of algae in various key sectors of the bioeconomy.
