Blue Bioeconomy Symposium 2025

Dear BaMS members, dear friends of the Blue Bioeconomy,

We are delighted to receive your enthusiastic inquiries about the Blue Bioeconomy Symposium, which will take place this year from October 14 to 15, 2025, in Berlin!

Our location will be Beach Mitte – a spectacularly beautiful, unusual venue with a holiday atmosphere and sandy beach, right in the heart of the capital. We are sure you will love it.

1.) The BaMS e.V. general meeting will take place at the symposium (Wed, 15 Oct). The invitation has been sent out separately in good time.

2.) There will be time and space for your topics. Please let us know in the registration form which topics you would like to work on in structured small groups. We want to offer the best possible program for your needs.

3.) As usual, each project, organized by the project managers, should introduce itself and present its own outcomes and learnings. Possible formats include 6-minute PowerPoint presentations, posters, or both. Please indicate your preferences, and we will get back to you with your slot times once we have collected the information from you.

Since accommodation in the capital is somewhat more expensive:

+++ Please indicate on your travel requests that you expect accommodation costs of approximately €140, including breakfast. If your BaMS project no longer has sufficient travel funds, it is possible to compensate for this from other financial items in the project. Please contact the coordinator or project sponsor for more information.+++

The event is free of charge for registered participants. We will also organize a dinner for you.
