With the new webinar series ‘Interreg in Dialogue – Exchange | Knowledge | Networking’, the German Interreg B contact points, together with the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR), are supporting cross-programme exchange between German project participants and other stakeholders from all federal states.
Interreg – or, as it is officially known, ‘European Territorial Cooperation’ – is part of the European Union's cohesion policy and promotes transnational project activities, among other things.
The aim of the online event series is to highlight knowledge from ongoing Interreg B projects, to network stakeholders across programme boundaries and to strengthen dialogue between programmes, projects and new interested parties – also with a view to future project ideas and the coming funding period.
What is it about?
In six 1.5-hour German-language webinars, we will address key topics of the Interreg B programmes – with a particular focus on:
Project partners active in Germany
The transfer of experience and project results into practice, policy and new project approaches
Projects contributing to sustainable and integrated spatial development
Thematic networking opportunities beyond the webinar series
Who is the target audience?
The webinar series is aimed at:
Lead and project partners as well as associated organisations of ongoing Interreg B projects
Local authorities, associations, research institutions and other stakeholders
In particular, interested parties with no previous Interreg experience
We cordially invite you to make a note of the dates in your diary – always on Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.:
26 March 2026: Resilient economic and administrative structures
23 April 2026: Climate adaptation in cities and regions
25 June 2026: Sustainable mobility
24 September 2026: Regional approaches to the circular economy
26 November 2026: Healthy ecosystems
28 January 2027: Local approaches to the energy transition
Each event combines short introductions with compact project pitches: Interreg B projects present their approaches and share their practical experiences. In an interactive format, these ideas can then be explored in greater depth, questions discussed and new perspectives introduced. The series invites participants to learn from each other, make contacts and develop their own ideas – even without prior experience with Interreg.
