N.A.T. is an engineering and environmental planning office specializing in landscape planning, open space design, and rainwater and wastewater planning. The planning office was founded in 1993 as the Dr. Ulf-Henning Schauser Landscape Planning Office in Eckernförde. This was preceded by various professional positions in the fields of landscape planning and nature conservation, mainly in Schleswig-Holstein, since completing his studies in 1984.
Around 1995, we began to intensively address the topic of nature-based wastewater treatment technology. Since then, this topic has remained a focus for us. The areas of work are increasingly converging, so we decided to operate as N.AT. – an engineering and ecological planning office for landscape planning, open space design, and rainwater and wastewater planning – from 2001 onwards.
We see ourselves primarily as consultants to local authorities and private developers. We develop plans and ideas for people in rural areas. Individual and innovative planning approaches are very important to us.
