25th Kiel Algae Round Table

Tuesday, 24 January 2023, from 6 p.m. (until approx. 9 p.m. at the latest)

at the Botanical Institute and Botanical Garden of Kiel University, in room E45 of the Biology Centre of Kiel University, Am Botanischen Garten 5, 24118 Kiel.

The Kiel Algae Round Table has already taken place 24 times, with numerous participants and interesting discussions on the topic of algae. After a three-year ‘corona break,’ we are pleased to send you an invitation to the 25th round table at the Botanical Institute of Kiel University.

The aim of the Kiel Algae Round Table is once again to bring together various stakeholders along the algae value chain (cyanobacteria, microalgae and macroalgae) to give them the opportunity to network and thus further advance this emerging field of science and business, especially in Schleswig-Holstein.

Event announcement:

Before the 25th Kiel Algae Round Table, there will be an opportunity to attend the lecture event ‘News from Marine Biotechnology’ with three lectures on the topic of ‘Marine Biomaterials’ starting at 4:15 p.m. in Lecture Hall E59 of the Biozentrum of the CAU (Am Botanischen Garten 1-9, 24118 Kiel, see attachment for directions). This event is organised by the Nordverbund marine Biotechnologie (NVMB) association. Participation is free of charge and no registration is required.
