Hanseatische Umwelt CAM GmbH has been involved in the composting of organic waste, the remediation of degraded soils, and the production of ready-to-use soil products since 1990. The Sandhagen compost, fertilizer, and soil plant processes up to 10,000 m³ of compost and various soils per year. In addition to compost and soil production based on marine biomass, Hanseatische Umwelt advises farmers and local authorities, offers services in garden landscaping, and is involved in research and innovation projects on the utilization of marine biomass.
