We want to promote the blue bioeconomy in the region and, in particular, support small and medium-sized enterprises in their establishment and development. Because we firmly believe that together WE can achieve more!
A large number of small and medium-sized enterprises in the blue bioeconomy sector that support each other and operate in an economically and ecologically resilient and sustainable manner through a trust-based network.
As we sail on together, we support you with our comprehensive portfolio of expertise. Throughout the BaMS project, we continuously expand and refine our expertise as well as our processes and procedures. In this way, we help you set the sails correctly, ensure you always have enough water under your keel, and drop anchor at the right moment.
Throughout the entire BaMS project period, we are developing services that we can already offer some of our founders. After an initial consultation, we will decide together whether, how and in which direction we will continue. If we want to be in the same boat from now on, we will work with you to develop a tailor-made support package, because every founder is at a different stage – some just need a little wind in their sails, while with others we build the ship together. In other words, some just need financing, others are unfamiliar with permits, some are already almost professionals in their field, and others have only just begun to develop an idea. Originally launched as a project, AQUATOR now continues its work long term through its establishment as a non profit limited liability company, supporting both start ups and established businesses within the blue bioeconomy.
Even during the project phase, several exciting start ups and products emerged, including a seed coating made from algae biomass and consulting services for fish cultivation combined with microalgae based process water treatment.
We want to see many small “blue” ideas in Northern Germany grow into one large movement where innovations develop together and complement one another, creating an economically strong and ecologically sustainable future.
